Coastal Collective: A Piece of Everything EP

I am the artistic director of improvising collective; Coastal Collective.

A Piece of Everything is our first release based on a one page score which I wrote. This music is inspired by all the the things in my life which help me look forward in hope and gratitude.

Reflections

Reflections is an immersive, interactive experience performed with strings, piano, electronics and voices. This genre-bending album draws inspiration from plainchant to lullabies, African songs to early opera and contemporary choral music. In making this album, Smith writes music inspired by his travels in Asia and America and the voices of many of those people on that journey appear on this record.
